Brother Jay Williams' wife Geisha was awarded an honorary degree from IWU, and gave the commencement address this year.

Brother Guy Gebhardt was initiated in January, 1966, with one of our largest classes.

Nolan Valdivia, Pin #567, initiated November 16th, 2014. He currently lives in Chesapeake, VA and works as an HR Generalist. When he lived in the chapter he held the positions of Chapter President, Secretary, Philanthropy Chairman, and House Manager.

Brother Jeff Boaz initiated into the chapter as the 333rd member (Pin# 333). Jeff was the driving force to get Acacia Fraternity onto Illinois State University. Through his counsel and guidance as the Chapter Advisor, in just 6 years the chapter has grown to 91 members.

I was a second semester pledge and was initiated in 1975 (pin # 254). Chapter offices held include Social Chairman (2x) and Venerable Dean. Alumni offices included Chapter Advisor, IWU Acacia Alumni Treasurer, and President of the IWU Acacia Corp Board. I received the Order of Pythagoras.
